Sacking Needle

Just a little 3D logo I made in PhotoDraw
Sacking Needle
The Sacking Needle has a long history appearing on knives in the early 1900s. This tool was used to closeup burlap sacks or similar with a heavy thread of the same material or other. This would be used primary in farming and the rest of the agriculture industry.

This tool was later adapted for the marine industry as a Marlinspike with sewing eye.

100mm Version

Early Victorinox knives were 100mm in length and were available as late as the 1950s with a sacking needle. The sacking needle was available in two sizes.
